At SonLife we believe that discipleship (spiritual growth) must be intentionally pursued. You do not become a disciple just because you are a "Christian". Discipleship is a process.

For that reason, we are in the process of integrating the principles of biblical discipleship into everything we do as a church. Very simply, there are four phases to the discipleship pathway.

Phase One: The First Connection... Come and See!

This is the beginning of the discipleship path. In Phase One we have intentionally planned ministries to help the person experimenting with Christianity. Our goal is to help you come to a clear understanding of who Jesus Christ is and what Christianity is all about.

Phase Two: The Second Connection... "Follow Me!"

After you've committed your life to Jesus Christ many people wonder, "What's next?" To help you, we offer teaching and coaching through our discipleship groups that will assist you in building a strong connection with God.

Phases Three & Four: The Third & Fourth Connections... "Abide in Me! and Remain in Me!"

Once you have a strong foundation in your faith, Phase Three is all about developing your skills and gifts. At this place in the discipleship pathway you will become actively involved in ministry and leadership under the guidance of other Phase Four Leaders.

From Phase Three you move to Phase Four where you begin to make disciples of others. Our vision is that those who have grown along the discipleship pathway to Phase Four will form the leadership team at SonLife as well as launch out from here to begin new churches, carry out missions work, and support other ministries that God may lead them to.
