Biography

Kevin was born and raised in Truro, Nova Scotia. After high school graduation Kevin began his career as a professional horse trainer and blacksmith until four years later he felt drawn by God to enter pastoral ministry. He completed his biblical studies at Eastern Pentecostal Bible College and remained on staff at the college for three years after graduation. It was during his time at Eastern that Kevin met his beautiful wife Annemarie. Kevin and Annemarie have been in pastoral ministry for over 16 years and have five children.

Kevin moved to Dartmouth in August 2000 to lead SonLife Community Church. He has a long term vision for SonLife and God has blessed both his family and SonLife since his arrival. He is a leader that is passionate and devoted to creating a culture of disciplemaking within SonLife. He has a strong desire to see people become followers of Jesus Christ. Kevin also has a high commitment to lifelong learning. He is presently part of a pastors coaching network and recently completed an MBA (Master of Business Administration, 2008) from The Sobey School of Business (St. Mary's University).

Most embarrassing moment in church: 

When Sarah T. helped illustrate a point in my message and she fell through the box I asked her to sit on! I was so stunned I forgot to help her get out of the box.
